<p>So how the hell do you people afford all these applications?..Or why would you waste that much on so many?</p>

<p>I originally wrote the applications for 7, but I submitted 5 and one of them was free.</p>

<p>@nickynick, I am fortunate to come from a well off family, and they said that they will spend whatever is necessary for apps and tuition. I applied to 15 schools because I am a borderline student with average GPA (3.2) and average SAT (1630) so I wanted a wide variety of good schools to apply to. This way I could have a better shot at getting into at least 1 or 2.</p>

<p>I am also fortunate enough to be well-off. I don’t consider it a waste as if I get into some and not others, that would mean that had I chosen my schools differently I might have ended up having to go to my safety or a school I was less enthusiastic about. If anything, I would consider writing an application and not submitting it a waste of my time, so although I didn’t really want to apply to Brown as much after finishing the application (I did some more research on Brown and I’m not sure if it would be a good fit anymore), I had finished the application, so since the fee isn’t a big deal for me (luckily for me) I submitted it anyway.</p>

<p>Which means I just have Columbia left!</p>

<p>I’m at 6 maybe? Fordham, UAlabama, Drexel, Pitt. After a while I just stopped caring lol I have maybe 5 more to go…and because I have no expectations…it’s just too amusing playing this admissions game. It may just be the closest I ever get to gambling…</p>

<p>I am applying to 11 schools. I finished all of them except Rice. I so far have 5 acceptances and 1 rejection (USAFA).</p>

<p>You guys apply to way too many schools. 15? 19? What’s the point? You’re only going to end up at one.</p>

<p>I’m applying to five. I’m submitted four (accepted to two, waiting for notification from the other two) and have one due January 15th that I still have to submit.</p>

<p>The two that I’m waiting on for notification said that they’d send out notice three weeks after applying so I’m getting concerned… I applied at the end of October…</p>
