Sent all the transcripts and certs by email.

I scanned all my certs, recommendation and transcript and send them by email. Is that ok ?
I still didnt get a response.

I sent them to: admit@binghamton.edu

I did the same with Stony Brook University (SUNY).

As far as I know, transcripts have to be sent directly from the school from where you received the transcripts. As far as recommendations, I’m not sure if they will accept them via e-mail.

I don’t think that’s acceptable, you have to send transcripts, LORs and certificated in sealed envelopes, attested by your school/college.
I too have applied BU for fall 2011 and i mailed the uni required documents in the above mentioned way, and through an email i asked them if my app is complete and they said yes.

You can check the status of your application materials at [Binghamton University - Undergraduate Admissions - Check Application Status](http://status.binghamton.edu). If it says you are missing the materials you emailed, I would suggest calling the admissions office at 607.777.2171

Just to provide a set in stone answer, no you must submit everything via a certified route. Transcripts from your college, sealed LOR from your source, etc.
