Sent in appeal, but hoping that I should hear my decision soon?

I had to file an appeal because I turned in one of the financial forms late as part of my application. Because I am an out of state student, I submitted everything (or at least I thought) early so I could continue submitting my other applications for other schools via Common App, etc. However, when I logged back into MyStatus one day, I realized I was a day late for turning in a financial form (because I assumed at the time that I was done with my application). It’s been a couple weeks since I have filed an appeal and according to this website and many others, most UT applicants will be hearing back by March 1st at the latest. A) Do you think this appeal with have a significant impact on whether or not they will consider my application? I mean, I turned in my FAFSA form on time and all of the other documents regarding my credentials as an applicant…and B) Do you think I should expect to hear back by them by March 1st, or later due to my appeal?

Contact the UT Admissions office and they can answer your question.

I already did several weeks ago, but they said "It could take a couple of weeks."I was just hoping to find someone who was in a similar boat as me.
