Sent wrong gpa to college

So I sent a 4.2 out of 4.0 to a college on common app accidentaly. My actual gpa is out of 100 and is a 92. I had no idea this was the case when I was filling out the app, so I decided to calculate my gpa on an online calculator, which ended up weighting my grades twice rather than only once. What should I do? Is this common? Are colleges going to punish me for this mistake?

You’re saying it’s a 92 based on an online calculator? First things first, get this confirmed by a guidance counselor.

Next, email the colleges. Let them know. Relax.
