Seo Accepted Interns 2008

I have finished it, its not bad at all. If you divide it up and allocate times before the 30th you should be able to finish no problem.

The first 4 sections took me around 1 - 1.5hours each
All the other sections take around 20min each

About the number of submissions: I did all of them the first time around except two, careless mistakes. Basically don't worry about it everyone will make it in 3 submissions.

I will be living at Clark Residence through EHS for the summer. Is anybody else staying there or know anyone who has?

How about School of Visual Arts? Is anyone staying there?

Do you all think we will hear this upcoming week? Does the partner firm call us or is it done by SEO staff?

Dell: I am expecting the call this week. SEO calls first to inform you, then the respective IB HR will contact you to congratulate you and send you all the information/contract. Once you sign that contract youre set!!!

Harv,

If you like where you interned and are invited back for next summer, do you again go through the SEO application... or do you just deal with the respective HR of the I-Bank?

I'm so excited for this week!

How do you know that we will be hearing this week for sure?

I don't think it's this week for sure. They said no earlier than end of March and also beginning of April, so it may very well be next week. I had no idea the firm would call us, I was just expecting an email from SEO!

Is there a list of where last year's candidates were placed? Does anyone know how many students are in the SEO class of 2008?

Sdog (lol, I feel silly saying that), I'm staying at the John St residence through EHS. I wonder how far we are from each other?

Supperman123 and Rudess. I was talking to an SEO ( not just some rep, someone who deals specifically with placement) last monday. In that call I asked about firm placement and I was told 1 and a half weeks. That call would be from SEO and later a call from the firm's HR would follow.

Rudess: It will happen this week.

Ltnguyen09, I checked out John St but they were full for the first session. You are really close to, if not in, the financial distrcit. I am living over the bridge in Brooklyn Heights, one stop on the train from John St. Anyways, good luck with everything, what program are you in?

HARVtoWALL, OK, thanks for the info.

i really hope we find out this week!

btw, i am staying in sva housing rudess

Sdog, I am in the S&T program. You're right about the John St. residence being in the financial district. It's actually a block or two from Wall Street I believe. I got the John St. residence for the second term because it runs until August 16th which should be enough time for us to go to the networking events/interviews, etc after our internships end. I plan to stay with a friend in Brooklyn from May 19th until June 1st (my move in date). What program are you in? Just call me Lyna, by the way =)

SEO called and i got my firm placement for GCFL. im at AIG investments near wall st.
sucks that nyu housing already passed..they tell us so late tho!

Congrats, I have not heard anything Yet. Just waiting for a phone call hopefully today but def this week!!!

WFBanker08 you said "the people who interviewed me think i'd be a better fit for trading than cf." did they ever end up switching you to S&T or are you in CF for morgan stanley???

I guess I can take out working at Morgan Stanley since they probably announcing them in groups by phone. Would like to know which other bank interns were announced.

Got my firm placement today. I'm going to LEHMAN BROTHERS!!!!

Everyone, congrats and I'm so happy and excited for all of you.
