Reading: -8 or -9*

@FuturePhysician1
E: 33/34
M: 27/28
R: 28/29
S: 34/35
C: 31-32

Do you guys think a -3-4 could be a 34 on the reading section this time?

@fireonice mmmm…I dont know but im leaning towards maybe a -3 will be 34. Honestly, reading didnt seem super hard except for the dual passage which I thought was hard ONLY cuz it was so boring to read ;)

So, anyone personally think ACT is getting harder from past experiences?

@master1006
Absolutely

Can someone predict these scores?
E: -0 - 2
M: -0 - 2
R: -8 - 10
S: -8 - 10

Can someone predict my scores too? Thanks xx
E: -1 - 3
M: -1 -3
R: -0 - 3
S: -1 - 4

Can you predict mine?
E: -0 - 2
M: -0 - 2
R: -8 - 10
S: -8 - 10

@austin23 Don’t think I’m too qualified to do this, but based off of past curves and general conversation:

E: 34-36
M: 35-36
R: 27-29
S: 28-30
C: 31-33

Let’s hope the curves are in our favor!

Yeah let’s hope so. It makes me mad because i was feeling so great after english and math then reading and science come and i bomb them. For me, it really just depends on the passage topics in reading and science.

I actually liked double passage - for one, you don’t have to memorize the entire passage and the questions are even divided up for you! Of the 10 questions, one part was referring ONLY to passage 1 (and explicitly stated), another to passage 2, and last for both. Unlike the SAT, where they don’t tell you which passage to look at explicitly.

I agree @viphan I thought the comparison was easy! It was very basic simple stuff

I loved the third passage, and I really wanted to read the fourth passage but I couldn’t really read it with interest due to time constraints.

I don’t take the ACT to get a good composite score; I take it to read the awesome articles that can really shine a bright light on your life, man. Inspirational ^:)^

@austin23 around 2 pages :(( @TheCalculator but I think I really messed up in general… :(

Hi everyone,
My test date was delayed so I’m taking the ACT tomorrow. Any general advice I should know before I take the test?
Thanks :)

My predicted:
E 35/36
R 35/36
S 34/35
M 28/29

Mathematics always makes me run out of time, and that elliptical section sucked on Sept. What’s the fastest way to pick that up for Oct.?
