I also remember the one with the electrodes, as well as the mechanical cars. I also has one where they had arctic and antarctic ice cores.

Now that I think about it…I definitely do NOT remember any passages regarding electrodes, androgen/cell receptors, or arctic/antarctic ice cores! Very strange…I remember the reflective/absorbing surfaces and the car positions. I don’t even think I remember a leaf decay question… maybe different forms?

@fireonice what form did you have?

72D I think, isn’t that what most people had?

Androgen-cell receptor passage was opposing viewpoints passage I think.

Oh was there something about transcription in there? Maybe I remember that one. It’s all a blur…

Yes, with cytoplasm and nucleus involved.

Ohh okay I remember that one, thanks. Hoping for a generous science curve (though there usually isn’t one)

Is it true that longer essays get better scores? I felt rushed on time and could only write a little over 2 pages (out of the given 4 pages)

Anything over 2 pages usually merits a decent score. It depends on the complexity of your argument and counterargument, coherence etc…

But yea,longer essays usually get higher scores statistically speaking since those essays contain more possibilities to elaborate upon their point.

I couldn’t finish my conclusion for the essay!!! I only got into like 2 sentences. Will this hurt my writing score a lot?

@lemons4life
How many pages did you write?

@lemons4life I also wrote a 2 sentence conclusion lol. Remember That they grade the essay holistically ,so don’t worry.

I need help.

So for me, E and M was the hardest, reading was easy and science was easier than normal(but then I never do as well on science so)

E-maybe -1/-2. I had this one question where I found out I was wrong and fixed the answer. But after that I had no time and couldn’t make a decision so didn’t change anything.

Some questions I remember are :

{DELETED BY MODERATOR}

S- Hard. I had literally 9 minutes for last 2 passages with 6 questions and 7 questions. I guessed about 1 completely and 2 others with really big questions. I think I can get up to even 4 wrong if im unlucky… But i’ve been terrible at science except for the first ACT Practice I did(i got 35 on that but never got 35 ever after that)

My predicted score
E: 0 / -1 ~ -2
M: 0 / -1 ~ -3
R: 0 / -1
S: -2 / -3

MODERATOR’S NOTE: This poster discussed several questions in detail. He or she has been given a major warning.

I had form 72D and I strongly felt that the math sections was much harder than any of the practice tests in the Red Book. I guessed on at least 6 towards the end. I probably got like 12 wrong.

The reading section had a double passage which was new to me. I had never seen a double passage in the reading section before. English was ok but when I do the practice tests, I always feel like I got a 36 but in reality I made some stupid mistakes and got a 28. I have a hard time predicting my score, IDK if thats a good thing or a bad thing.

Can you guys give me an estimate of my score with a curve?

I believe i got:
-1 to -2 on English
-3 to -4 on Math
-12 to -14 on Reading
-7 to -8 on Science

@Prodigee

E: -1 is 35, -2 is 34
M: -3 is 34, -4 is 34
R: -12 is 28, -14 is 27
S: -7 is 30, -8 is 29
C: 32 or 31

Can someone predict my score? With a curve
English: -2 or 3
Math: -12 or 13
Reading: -8 or -8
Science -2 or -3
