Being the doofus that I am, I looked at the required courses on Assist more thoroughly after my registration and courses settled down and realized that a required physic course isn’t articulated at my CC for UCSD. Is UCSD ok with applicants taking Physic 110 and 120 at a CC and then taking Physic C (part of a letter sequence) at another CC?
The way to determine order of any sequence is to look at the pre-reqs of each. For instance, a sequence might be physics 2 (pre-req physics 1) and physics 3 (pre-req physics 1). In this case you can take 2 or 3 in any order. Re whether you can split the sequence, unless assist says the entire sequence must be at the same CCC you should be able to (and your CCC doesn’t even offer it). But I would check with an advisor for verification. Or better yet, email UCSD.
Ok, thank you. I have contacted one and am waiting on their response.
Does any combination of physics courses at your CC cover any course or combination of courses at UCSD, according to assist.org ?
Others may be able to help you better if you named the CC(s) in question.

Thank you for the recommendation. I am currently at Antelope Valley College (AVC) and have taken Physic 110. AVC doesn’t have an articulated course for Phys 2C. So I was planning to take Phys 231(Phys C) at Diablo Valley College. But I heard UCs want the students to take the full sequence and am wondering if I should go to Diablo and do the whole physic sequence, which would mean redoing Physics 1.
