seriously need help with reading scores!

ok so I'm a junior now and i took the SAT and got a 2100 ( math: 770, write: 740, reading : 590), I really need to increase my reading score I'm trying to get into the 2300s and I know i can get 780-800 on math and writing ( i just need to work on the essay). I always seem to get reading questions wrong, i can omit 3 answers and get stuck on the last two and for some reason I keep picking the wrong ones so does anyone have any advice? also what should i do this summer for vocabulary? any specific list?
thanks everyone
by the way I'm trying to get into Davis is a 2300 even good enough?

by davis if you mean uc davis its more than enough. If you get 2300 or more the sat won’t really be a major factor in your admission in that when they compare you with people that got higher scores they will probably look at other factors. As for the reading I have the same problem that you do but I looked up silverturtle’s guide and it helped a lot. I look at the line references like silver turtle mentioned and mark it ahead of time. This way I could tackle the questions step by step rather than handle them all at once. You may also be analyzing the questions like me . Don’t over think the questions. In fact, I try to turn of my analytical brain after writing my essay. Everything correct answer is supported by evidence. If even one word in the answer choices is not supported it is the wrong answer. Therefore physically eliminate your wrong choices by scratching them out with your pencils. Then choose the answer choice that is supported by concrete evidence, even if it looks really silly.

thanks, i guess that is my main problem, being analytical and all. I’ll try out this silverturtle thing too
