Yeah, I am so sad that 92.3 (K-rock) turned into what it is now. I now just generally listen to 105.5. Nevertheless, I still have heard some decent “hot” summer songs. Fire Burning, I Got a Feeling, Waking Up in Vegas, and Battlefield are all great lol, and I am a usually rock/classic rock person. Birthday Sex, Best I Ever Had, and Taylor Swift are just terrible, no offense.

^ haha wow you havent posted in forever (you dont know who this is)

The beastie boys are back with too many rappers, that’s pretty good.

Random summer song im into haha

i hate lil’ wayne so much, yeezy is the only one with producing talent and rapping skills. Listen to “family business”, “roses”, “the glory”

Weezy is wack, gross, and repulsive. I like Young Jeezy a lot better than him. You’re right Kanye is pretty good too. I still feel for him 'cause of his mom. sigh

"You’re counting on good songs coming out that’ll be played on the radio? Good luck. Real music isn’t on the radio. " - diontechristmas

Says who? You? I’ve heard plenty of good songs on the radio, but I admit that I’d rather listen to older music from the 80s and 90s.

The only rappers that I can stomach nowadays are Jay-Z and Nas— the greatest rappers alive.

Before you jump on me, listen to: Illmatic and Reasonable Doubt. Then listen again and again… b/c most likely these albums will be so beyond your ability of comprehension.

Good choices, I wasn’t fronting you! Lol, maybe we misunderstood each other? Have you listened to what Chamillionaire does on his mixtapes…ill! He murders weak rappers badly-written songs, he really is a great lyricist.

"The only rappers that I can stomach nowadays are Jay-Z and Nas— the greatest rappers alive. "

i agree with you, but these guys have had a really hard time progressing. people like Nas, jay z, lupe fiasco, and biggie have been playing the same stuff since the nineties. well, biggie has an excuse, and i don’t support modern music, but i don’t support going backwards either.

Lupe was in school in the 90’s. And Jay-Z and Nas as the top 2? LOL

Then again, I should expect this on CC.

You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. Since when was fiasco rapping in the 90s? He didn’t do anything in the 90s. And Jay-z and nas are two of the best rappers of all time, ■■■■.

I was referring to pinkslip’s post. And I would agree that Jay Z is top 5. But Nas isn’t even top 10. That’s ludicrous. You seem like one of those people who tries to act sophisticated by going with the old school talk. Nice try though.

yeah, says the person who says lupe fiasco was “in school” (where are you from with that lingo?) in the 90s LOL. and referring to someone else’s post =/= making you not wrong. ohey, guy says fiasco was big in the 90s, let me agree with him even though apparently I know he’s wrong.

being in your point of view, I can think of no comeback unless you TROLLLLLLL IN THE DUNGEONSSSSSSSSSSSS. so I believe this is your cue to ■■■■

D: I haven’t even listened/heard of some of the songs mentioned in the first post.

Except for “I’m on a boat” which is great the first time.
And then mildly funny the second time.
But after the third or fourth time, just put a sock in it.

“yeah, says the person who says lupe fiasco was “in school” (where are you from with that lingo?) in the 90s LOL. and referring to someone else’s post =/= making you not wrong. ohey, guy says fiasco was big in the 90s, let me agree with him even though apparently I know he’s wrong.”

*** are you talking about.

In his post he lists Lupe with other rappers who have been playing the same stuff since the 90’s. In the 90’s Lupe was skateboarding to school and playing Nintendo 64 in his parents basement.

Also, “in school” is a term used to describe someone in elementary/middle/high school. LOL @ you for not understanding that. What foreign language do you speak. LOL @ picking on my lingo. It’s almost as if you are implying I live in some lame area with no street cred. Funny since my city is without a doubt a top 5 city in terms of cred.

if people living in your city call it cred, then yeah, I should be implying that you live in some lame area

um i guess i apologize for the minor error? I was trying to say that since lupe fiasco is a throwback, he isn’t doing anything to progress music. I sincerely apologize for the cluster**** that ensued my minor slip-up.

I would also like to say that Nas is definitely more important than you people think he is, but but i don’t want to have to fight off any suburban g’s, so i will cease and desist.

I have to admit homeboy, you do seem to have a lot of street cred. after all, you’re not a gangst-A unless you’re on an online forum at 2:00 AM discussing colleges and arguing with other gangst-A’s about your cred, your rep, and your high school’s ranking system and AP classes.

Just because you live in baltimore does not mean you are tough. 8 million people live in New York, and only a handful of them are gangst-As(morons as the rest of us like to call them).

LOL @ YOU for not understanding that. And LOL @ YOU for trying to sound tough and convincing while typing “LOL @ you” multiple times.

some day, you will see the big picture and you will “get it.”

on another note, just for giggles, and to antagonize you, baltimore is nowhere near the top five toughest towns in america, let alone the world. very close-minded of you to think this

You know, I haven’t really given Chamillionaire a good listen to. I think I’ll pick up some CDs from my friends/library and give him a listen. Hip Hop Police wasn’t that bad of a song, so I have faith! Haha.
