bigdreamer, he also grew up in an upper-class Canadian area. I’m not sure if Canada has any tough neighborhoods like us, but that fact and that he was upper-class growing up basically tarnishes this thug image he’s trying to portray. Why can’t he be a singer and rap on the side?

smilemyonly, the new Degrassi episodes feel like Saved By the Bell: The New Class. Of course they couldn’t keep the original cast in high school forever, but it feels so different now. I don’t feel connected to the new kids at all. That Indian girl is very pretty though.

Really, he was upper class? Wow, I had no clue. So much for the hood dreamer turned rich rapper image. When I hear “Best I Ever Had,” the fact that he used autotune to rap shows he has a bad voice for that genre to me. Yet, I think that they are parts where he actually half-sings, which sounded better to me.

He should do R&B IMHO. I know people have alter egoes for performing and whatnot, but this guy is completely selling a lie. Lol, at least Lady Gaga flaunts the fact that she is sex-craved and “different.” Wow, Drake should sing and be featured as a singer/rapper on Young Money tracks. Ne-Yo and Chris Brown sing and appear in hip hop sings, why can’t he?
