<p>As a member of College Discussion, I have very much enjoyed my time here. However, the archaic form of forum software, combined with a lack of moderation of obscene threads, has prompted me to build my own service academy forum. The link is provided above (later it will point directly to forums).</p>

<p>I'm not sure what "obscene threads" you're referring to on this particular board. Good job taking initiative, though, and I wish you luck with your forums.</p>
<p>While it means a lot that you offered me a position as a moderator, after thinking about it, I'm going to decline. While I'm planning on staying here until after your class's BCT to see how it went for you all and may come here from time to time after that, I'm thinking of moving on. I've enjoyed working with you all, but the primary thing that has aided me in answering your questions has been my connection to the Academy. Since I am no longer there, I don't think I will be able to be as accurate with my responses (which defeats the purpose), in the face of constant changes that take place.</p>

<p>The obscene messages to which I was referring were the attacks in several other SA forums including name-calling and derogatory remarks.</p>
<p>I am planning a well-moderated forum to alleviate these issues.</p>
