Sessions college addmissions

I am completely new to college. I don’t have a clue how all this works. I applied to sessions college online, the same day I applied, I received an acceptance letter as reads;

Dear My name,

Then, a few minutes later, I received another email saying that as soon as my application was reviewed I would get a call for orientation. So I write my advisor back and said I already received an email stating that I was accepted. She said sorry for the confusion, that just an automatic email that gets sent out when your application is sent for review. What? Someone help.

I know sessions isn’t some prestigious college, It’s just something I am doing to get some extra training.

Sessions is a a private for profit online school.

The problem with this type of school is usually they are more interested in your money than in your success.
Also, what do future employers think of Sessions?

I know, I’m not worried about that. I work at a business graphic design company now. Small town business. This isn’t for future employers really, it’s more for me to learn the ins and outs of graphic design so I can move up to the design only area of my job. I’m just frustrated at the acceptance letter, it was very confusing. I’m just wondering if this is a common thing for colleges?

Is similar training available at your local community college?

No, we have no arts program.
