Hello. I am considering to apply to the Seton Hill/LECOM (B.S-D.O) Program (3+4 w/ Biology major). Any thoughts on the program? Also, do they require research or look at medicine-related extracurriculars in HS? I have limited Biological research, and I don’t volunteer at a hospital, etc. but I have a 4.2 GPA with APs in Chem, Phys 1, Calc BC, Stats, both CompScis, World & U.S Hist, Mac/Microecon, and Eng Lang/Lit. My SAT is 1500. Am I in a good position? Do they want research or medical ECs? Whats the programs acceptance rate? Thanks a lot.
I do have ECs such as Ultimate Frisbee, AFJROTC Raiders/Color Guard/Saber Team & Coding club though.
It is perfectly OK for you to contact that program directly, and discuss your situation with the admissions office.
Instead of “textbook” type info, I came to the forum for honest info from people who know about this program. I will email SHU, but if anyone has any info about this, it would be appreciated. THX!
