Setting up an interview

Hello there, im a HS senior and BU is my top school, although due to financial constraints I didn’t feel comfortable applying ED and everything. Anyway, how do I go about setting up an admissions interview? Im pretty sure I would be exploring a business major so that would be SMG. Ive gone on the website but I couldnt find a clearcut explanation as to how to set one up…

Does an interview only take place once I apply? Is there a page on the website that I missed with an application?

Thanks in advance!

Hmm…I don’t think BU conducts any interviews…out of all the people I’ve met here, I don’t think any of them have had an interview with admissions. If you still feel strongly about it, you should call admissions or email them.

Okay haha well thats comforting, I just wanted an interview to show them my high level of interest in the school and all, but if they don’t even conduct interviews than nothing I can do about that. Thanks for your response!

Dd showed her high level of interest by signing up for bu today enewspaper, reading the web pages, reviewing info through the dean of students, etc… When she wrote her essay, she pulled her research into the descriptions. Good luck!

I went on an interview with the Director of Admissions about two months ago. It was a pretty painless process. Just email the director and ask him that you’re highly interested in BU, but you have a few unanswered questions that you wish to ask him to confirm your decision that BU is the university for you. The only downside is that you’ll have to spend a good amount of money on traveling expenses to get to Boston, but other than that, it went well!
