Setting up Interview

Hi Everyone! I recently received an email with the contact information for my local alumni interviewer. The email says that I should email the interviewer to set up an interview as soon as possible. I just wanted to see if anyone had any advice as to how I should format the email? I know this seems like a trivial detail but I really don’t want it to sound awkward! Should I just introduce myself, give a little bit of my background, and then ask when she is available to meet? Should I suggest a date or place? Should I address her by her first name or Ms. ---- ?

As you can probably tell I’m a little nervous and I would greatly appreciate any advice:) Thank you!

I feel like you should start off with a “Good morning/afternoon Ms. ____,” and then just say that you are applying to so-and-so college, and would like to set up an interview. Mention what sorts of meeting places would be convenient for you, and then ask when they are going to be in that area.

Also, throw in that you’re happy to meet her! She’s your regional rep, after all, so I’m sure it won’t be too hard to communicate a bit of excitement!

Thank you:) @Gabrialias

Actually, it is the local alumni interviewer, not the regional rep from admissions, right?

Yes it is a local alumna!
