So very disappointed in this university - they accepted too many students this year, and consequently, many have been stuffed into triple rooms that are meant for 2 students. No space for things you need and often sleep deprived because of the overcrowding which seems that prisoners get more consideration. The kids consistently lose power (!!!) in the dorms because of the overcrowding- completely unacceptable and this is a known issue. They should disclose the rooming and power situations during the tour!! well now you know. If you’re a science major or anything intense/high level- RUN FAST the other way!! Oh, and you’ll have to put up with this crap for half of your college experience because UVM requires you to live though this living on campus torture for 2 years. Have anxiety (I mean who isn’t in this day and age)? Don’t even think about coming here - it’ll be worsened 100 times. Leaves me with the impression that UVM is too much about money and not enough about the welfare of their students. Completely shocked at this liberal arts left leaning college. WOW

Is this in the Honors college Dorm or all dorms?
I don’t think this is anything new at universities, my daughter was in a forced triple in 2019 at UDel, all of the dorms with a/c had them. It was tight. My daughter is a freshman at Clemson, she signed a lease for an off campus apartment for next year last month, there are only like 1200 beds for non freshmen and it’s a lottery. This is the time of the semester where students are scrambling to register for classes on campuses everywhere, lots of waitlists.
