^^ in accordance with reputation: It can catch up to you if you are every considering the chance of being taken seriously... for some reason, human nature probably, the lack of discipline with sex=lack of need for respect in serious situations.

Just have sex with everyone. No one cares about rules except girls. If you have sex with a few guys people will think you're a slut; if you have sex with 1,000 guys people will think you're a slut. In that case, go for the mile!

1 out of 5 americans is estimated to carry genital herpes (a life-long infection)

1 in 13 has papillomavirus (genital warts, cervical cancer)

not to mention a whole bunch people with bacterial infections, such as chlamydia, which can lead to inflammation of the uterus (PID) and then possibly infertility

1 in 6 women who are barren are so because they had an std

some things like herpes can be passed on to your kids long after youre done with college partying

so try and pick out cleaner-looking guys (cuz even with available protection, the risk exists) and avoid having casual sex with fraternity ones, cuz they are most likely to carry the whole bouquet -- trust me that it is better to plan and give it some thought beforehand rather then end up running a high fever on stomach-turning antibiotics and having to pay for doctors visits and pills

kihyle-- thanks for the stats, but generally, most sexually active college students don't think about that. which is sort of a bad thing. what i feel is that yes, there are all of these scary statistics out there, but the chance of it happening if you're using a condom properly is slim to none. there are plenty of ways to protect yourself from pregnancy and stds/stis. it's not really fair to peg fraternity guys as those most likely to carry stuff, because while yeah, i'm sure some do, many really care about using protection and being smart.

Try Yasmine or something. You wear a patch and it's like the same as the pill. I wish I could wear a patch and have all my sperm to be sterile. USE TECHNOLOGY WOMAN!

first of all...ucsb isn't that hard to get into but for a party school its pretty hard. i heard a study that said 74% of girls at UCSB have STD's but im not sure if thats accurate. and i wouldnt recommend going around banging every one, it will come back to haunt you.

Here's some good advice: Never wear a condom. This way, you can have at least 6 kids in a short period of time! Everyone wants kids, why go for the hassle of marring wheen it's right at your face? :p
