<p>have an awesome time, guys... i went last year and it was amazing...... (too bad shad isn't deemed "prestigious" by US univeristies due to the insanely high admit rate)</p>

<p>ummmm for shad, it's around 70% i believe lol.. but don't let that deter you at all from attending the program. It is the best program in Canada and personally, it was one of the best experiences of my life.</p>

<p>Hmm... I've heard hints about Shad Valley being easy to get into, though I'm kinda doubtful about the 70% figure (that means that only 930 people apply for the 625 spots every year). At least three people in my school have applied, but I haven't heard anything from them yet.</p>
<p>I<3Pi, don't they give bursaries to lower the cost? At least the one I received was pretty big... Now I need to find out how much a train ticket from BC to Ontario costs, since I have a profound fear of flying :P</p>
<p>hmmm i asked them last year and it was a figure similar to that... don't count on it 100% but it's definitely around there. LOL BC to ontario... which campus? QUEEN'S?! lakehead? waterloo?</p>

<p>My dad went to Carleton and occassionally teaches there. He lives in Ottawa and he's pushing for me to go there. Personally, I'm aiming for Georgetown or McGill. ;)</p>
