Shall I retake SAT 1 or take Chem and Bio?

Hi,
I'm planning to transfer for the 2015 fall semester and January 24th is the last day to take the test.
I am planning to apply to top engineering schools(even though it's gonna be almost impossible).
I have taken SAT 1 and scored 2140, and scored 800 on SAT Math 2C and Physics.

If I can get over 2250 on SAT 1 or 800 on both Chem and Bio, would it be better to retake SAT 1 or take Bio and Chem? I am planning to major computer science or mechanical engineering.

I’d say go for that SAT 1

A breakdown of your SAT I score would be nice, as having a 700+ in the Math section would make taking the SAT I/IIagain pointless.

Reading/ Math/ Writing 650/800/690. Would it be better to retake sat1 since my reading score is low?

This depends on which schools you’re applying to.
Can you post some of the names here?

Since you’re applying to engineering i think Bio and Chem ( i would take physics though) are MUCH MORE important than raising your reading score. Honestly i wouldn’t hesitate, if you can get an 800 on chem or physics, it’s gonna be worth so much more than a 750 in CR. People should be logical for a second, you’re applying to engineering…

I’m gonna apply to some of my dream schools such as Brown, Cornell, Tufts, and Johns Hopkins. However, to be realistic, my goal is Boston University.

Retake the SAT I. You’ve already met the SAT II requirements and your SAT I is on the low side for all of those schools except BU. Also, SAT I is usually considered higher than SAT IIs.
