sharing a story...wut the hell...

allright...so in march i took the sats...i had a pretty bad cold...and surprisingly i did allright (740 M...which is understandable... 790 in Writing...it was mainly memorizing the sent structures....and a frickin 620 in CR...yea...i couldn't exactly READ with a headache...) so for the first time...my parents pardoned me....

i took the sats again in may...i didn't exactly review my CR a lot b/c i thought it was just my cold that got me the 620...(on the psat i got a 69 in CR)...i took the may sat...i had 4 CR sections...i knew during the test that i F'D up on 1 of the CR sections and did pretty well on 3 of them...AND LO AND BEHOLD....the one i F'D up on counted...scores came back...630 in CR (750 M and 730 W)

i'm quite upset over the CR scores...i guess its by impulse that i make up excuses for these scores...i personally feel that these are legitimate excuses lol...my parents on the other hand..."STOP MAKING EXCUSES FOR URSELF..." (which isn't exactly encouraging...)

So basically...i really don't know wut to think...but i don't think i'll take the chance of not studying over the summer...i really want to prepare for the CR so to make sure that i'll do well in october...which books do you think i should use for CR? i hv the PR 11 and sum Kaplan crap...and for those that did well...wut are some of ur "secrets" in succeeding?

thanks for reading through this long post lol...i just had to get it out lol...

Hey buddy, there was a 3/4 chance that the section you ****ed up on was going to count, I don't think it counting qualifies as the world being out to get you. Your parents are right, don't make excuses, the "secret" to success is to study so that you don't have to rely on a section not counting in order to do well.
