@Monkeiiboy Congrats! Better than a NO at this point.
Same here. Priority hold.
I’m sorry @missnypizza That email about being in consideration was sincere, at the end of the process we had to make very difficult decisions. Unfortunately getting a good vibe, etc. and then getting a “no” is a huge part of this business. I had a ton of auditions that went really well, the people behind the table talked to me like I was going to get the gig, and then nothing. Try to turn it into a teachable moment about the realities of this business. If you do 100 auditions and get 1 gig in NYC, you are doing well. It is a tough biz and the sooner she figures out how to cope with the rejection, the better off she will be moving forward. Best of luck with the rest of the process. ~ VT
@VoiceTeacher Thank you for your kind message. Certainly with this being my 2nd rodeo as a parent of a performer, I can appreciate and understand that. Not so easy for the student. But they know the business is hard; right now they just want to get into a school.
Are the Acting BFA decisions out as well? Are MT auditioners sometimes redirected to that program? I haven’t seen anything about it on the theatre/drama thread here at CC.
@MReader Some Acting decisions are out! I was accepted. I heard back on 2/15. I know of 4 other people who have been accepted too!
