<p>an admission adviser told me about half a page, double-spaced. from what i understand that's also the "average" length. personally, i don't think it matters if it's a bit shorter or longer than that as long as you sufficiently answer the question.</p>
<p>honestly, it should be however long it takes for you to answer the question in a clear and concise way. Mine was almost a page and a half doublespaced, but I was confident about it and felt that I would hurt the overall quality of the essay if I tried to shorten it.</p>
