Shortest time to get a CPA?

Hello everyone, I am new here and would like some advice and knowledge for getting my CPA.

First off, I am currently a freshman in college, and because of AP Credit in high school, I was able to transfer 29 units over in college. At my school, some people have told me I am technically a sophomore and will be able to graduate in 3 years.However, my school offers a MACC program that allows students to receive a MACC degree in 5 years. I may be able to do it in 4 because of the number of units I have.

My question is will I be qualified for the CPA exam if I really do get my MACC degree in four years? I read that there is a 150 hour requirement for CPA which equates to 5 years of collegiate schooling. I kindly ask for clarification on this topic. Thanks!

Any AP credit allowed by the college you graduate with will count to the 150 hour requirement.

Different states have different educational requirements but generally;

A business undergrad + MAcc will almost always meet the educational requirements for becoming a CPA.

As for your AP credits, as long as your school is accredited (most are), they will count.
