Should College Essays That Are Typed Be Double Spaced?

<p>Should college essays that are typed be double spaced? Also what about the essay format; can I use block style paragraphing with no indention before the paragraph and a line in between each paragraph?</p>

<p>on paper, i alwyas 1.5-space my essays. and indent paragraphs. on online ones i use the block style and no spacing (only between paragraphs)</p>
