Should I add to my resume a 5-days summer program in Spain under the "Education" section

Hey CC community!

I hope everyone is having a fantastic Thursday!

I am writing because I need some advice on how to structure my resume. I was awarded a full-ride scholarship to attend a 5-days-program at a Spanish university to take a credit-bearing course. Nonetheless, I am unsure as to how I should update my resume since I will enroll in one course, and generally, it wouldn’t be a “traditional” college experience.

Right now, my resume reads:

EDUCATION________________________________________________________________________
XYZ University, New York, NY May 2017

B.A. in ABC
Relevant Coursework: D, E, F & G

I would like to know if you guys would recommend for me to update my resume as follows?

*Awarded scholarship: Organization name
*(Should I even mention this?)

I am on my way to grad school after returning to the States. I am afraid that my 1-page resume may end up being too lengthy after adding my grad school deets, to make it look like this:

Based on your experience organizing your resumes, what would you suggest in my case? Please know that your responses are very well appreciated and may help others in similar situations.

I’m not an expert in US curriculums, but in my country we use all academic information and work experience posible, I know here is normally better a more precisely (Short) version,

Somebody can give you better advise than me, but I recommend you that if you scholarships
In Spain was for merit, use that information.

Depending on what else is on your resume, you could put the scholarship in the honors and awards section, which is where you could say Dean’s List, etc.

If anything, I’d put it in a one line note, maybe under awards like Cheddarcheese suggests, and probably only if it is something that relates to your degree or career. If it was just one class for fun, I wouldn’t include. It isn’t for a degree, and it is only one week. Relevant course work isn’t always listed on a resume once you get a degree and some employment history.

I would only list scholarship under scholarship section. If list school info your resume would look too lengthy and since it’s just one class it’s not relevant (nobody cares). People only care about the school where you ultimately got your degree.
