Should I appeal?

I applied to Berkeley and was honestly shocked when I was rejected. All my friends and family had told me I was in for sure and was chanced as a match several times on this forum. I also received the women in engineering invite. Here are some stats,

I applied engineering undeclared
UC GPA: 4.15
SAT:2310 (math800/writing770/cr740)
SAT IIs: Math 2 800, World History 770, US History 710
ELC
Swim and Water Polo all four years.
AP tests: Calc BC:5,Calc AB subscore:5, World History:5, Euro History:3, Language:3, US History:4
This year taking AP Music theory, AP Physics C mechanics, AP Gov+Econ, AP Lit

I know engineering undeclared is one of the hardest majors to get into but I still feel like I should have got in.

So should I appeal? The only new information I have is me and a partner placing 3rd in the physics lab of science olympiad out of 20 teams, but I feel I should have been accepted. If I should appeal, how should I do it considering I don't have much new to tell them?

btw I was acepted to UCD, UCSD, and UCLA, but I really had my heart set on berkeley.

Definitely appeal.
Hope all the best mate!

I don’t think that’s enough new information for you to appeal. Cal has already reviewed your application and if you don’t have much to say…

I wish you the best of luck, it must be really frustrating for you. ]:

P.S.-Others got that invite as well and there have been some who also didn’t get accepted. They’re two completely different departments.
