Should I apply Columbia ED?

<p>Idk if i should because:
a) it's binding- what if I get better offers from other schools (applying maryland honors, queens malcaulay, binhampton honors, sophi davis, princeton (which i doubt ill get in)) ?
b) financially- me and parents think 20k in loans is most we want to go. Columbia i think gives average of 30k grants...But we aren't sure if that's what they'll actually give us...</p>

<p>On the other hand, Columbia is an amazing school, and i might not get in regular decision (may not get in early either, but better chance).</p>

<p>Advice? Thoughts?

<p>I’m kind of in the same boat. Columbia is my absolute #1 choice, but I still don’t know if it’s a good idea to bind myself to just one school. I can’t get over the fact that last year 43% of Columbia’s incoming freshman were admitted early decision. I know I want to go there, but don’t know if I should apply ED.
But I guess if you have any doubts about it at all, just go ahead and apply regular decision.
If you’re really supposed to end up there, you will.
At least that’s what I tell myself, lol.</p>
