Should I apply ED?

<p>I wouldn’t be disappointed. I would be GLAD that I had a seat. Admissions were all over the place this year, and with more people choosing college than ever, I doubt it will get any easier.</p>

2. If you read College Confidential a lot, you’ll see that many students feel that NYU is particularly stingy with the financial aid. It’s not that other schools will necessarily be more generous, but schools have been known to stretch for students they really want. If you get in ED, they have no incentive to stretch.

<p>Really? No incentive to stretch on kids who get in ED? I would think just the opposite–schools WANT the kids who applied ED. If the amount of aid an applicant receives ED is not enough, the applicant CAN back out of it. What schools want their ED acceptances to back out?</p>
