Should I apply if I'm not catholic?

I'm wondering what it would be like to attend a Catholic University if you are non-catholic? Do any current students fit this profile and do you feel out of place? Any insight would be appreciated.

Most Catholic universities are Catholic in spirit. There will be crucifixes in classrooms, prayers will begin academic gatherings, no contraception available, no overnight guests of the opposite sex, things like that.

But religious worship is not required or beliefs shoved down your throat. Some students are religously active, others are not at all. Religious activities are available for those who want them. I graduated over 30 yrs ago, but this hasn’t changed.

You find this true of most schools like PC, BC Holy Cross, Georgetown, etc. There are a few “in your face” Catholic colleges, if you want one (Franciscan in Steubenville, OH, for example, along with a new school in Florida whose name escapes me.)
