Should I apply REA?

Hi!
I am an international student who will be applying to Stanford for the class of 2019. I wanted to apply to MIT early but I found out that internationals can't do so. So, I plan to apply to either Harvard or Stanford.

While Harvard has a huge difference in REA/RD rates,(almost 20%), Stanford doesn't really have a huge difference.
I want to apply to a school where I have a comparatively greater chance of getting in.

Check out my stats and feel free to give any advice that you want.

SAT 1 - 2230 ( 800M , 700W , 730CR ) (Taking it once again to push for 2300+ )
SAT 2 - Math and Physics - 800

9th - 85% ; 10th - 92.8% ; 11th - 93.5% and 12th mid - 92.2%
Rank - Top 3-4% (class of 350)

ECs -
Qualified for NOI ( The stage prior to team selection for IOI )
Research projects - Published in a international journals and 2 national journals
Won at at Intel ISEF (2nd place category + other small awards that do not matter much)
Have 2 patents to my name
Taught myself C++/python/javascript/HTML/CSS and used it in my projects.
Played football for my school for 8 years also and captained the side ( upto district lvl) and also played for a club
Played basketball for my school (upto district lvl)
Taught juniors at my school to code.( 20 children )
Also worked at an NGO for 5 months

I just participated in a few activities as I only have passion for those and I did not try to do anything just for the sake of getting something on my app.

I can write fairly well and I don't think that essays will be a hindrance.

As for financial aid, I do not require any.

I am also retaking the SAT and I am working on a edu-portal with my brother which I hope, will be ready by November.
I am writing about my experiences with that portal and how it brought about many changes in me.

Thank you once again.

@humblefool. Let me be frank. I have looked at some of your other threads requesting chances, etc…The question you should ask yourself is…What school do I really want to attend with my interests/career goals? Where will I be happy most? You have to ask yourself…do I want to compete with only 6 thousand or so early applicants in the early round…or, do I want to compete against close to 40,000 in the regular round? Remember, those who have the top credentials who are planning to apply REA will secretly want you to apply in the regular round to minimize their competition…and those who are planning to apply in the regular round secretly want you to apply in the REA round…

…moreover, there are far more outstanding students in this country and throughout the world who don’t use CC and just as many who are secret lurkers who are all planning to apply strategically to their favorite school…

…most are secretly hoping “fewer” would apply to Stanford…but, that is highly unlikely.

The reason why Harvard has such high REA admittance is because majority of those students are legacies. imho
Stanford would be easier for non humanities students to be accepted. Go for Stanford, you won’t regret it.
Best of luck!

@gravitas2 thanks for replying. I never thought of it that way.
