I’m currently attending another university but I am almost done with the pre requisites for my major in order to transfer. I only need Chem 1 and lab and Physics 2 and lab, which I am taking in the upcoming fall. I’ve heard from people on this forum that they might not accept me for the Spring if they can’t see the grades for the classes I’m taking in the fall so wouldn’t it be smarter for me to apply to transfer in the summer? I also feel like it would be a good chance for me to bring up my GPA since I didn’t do so well in the classes for my initial major before I switched.
@al14rx just make sure that you have a min. of 60 cr hours, and all of your pre reqs. completed. If you are in state and have over a 3.0 (cumulative) GPA, you should have no issues.
Well the issue would be that UF won’t be able to see the grades I got in the fall when they look at my application for the spring…so I’m assuming being a Summer transfer would be the best bet?
