<p>Wake Forest is perfect for me and has everytbing I want in a school, but it would be a long shot for me to get in. The application deadline is creeping up, and I'm not sure I want to complete the many parts of the application if have no chance of getting in. I only have a 3.68 weighted GPA and an 1800 SAT score. I'm female, white, middle class, involved in 1 varsity sport and 1 compettive show choir group. 3 AP classes this year, and almost all other honors classes, except for math. Not super impressive. Do you think I should still apply</p>
<p>More than metrics, I think Wake Forest looks at students holistically. Playing a varsity sport is a huge commitment and colleges understand the practice and game time, commitment, sacrifice and physical exhaustion that comes from being on a high school sports team. Three AP classes is more than other applicants have this year. Yes, I think you should apply. </p>
