Should I be worried that I haven't heard back from all CSUs yet?

I applied to multiple CSUs, and I have heard back from them all already except for CSUN. But I know many people who have already been accepted to CSUN. It can’t be something wrong with my application because I got accepted to the other Cal States I applied to. Should I be worried? When should I expect to hear back? I’m a California resident, and I did apply to an impacted major.

The majority of the CSU’s have rolling admission decisions meaning you can hear as early as December or as late as April. Be patient and usually decisions for impacted majors can take longer.

Like Gumbymom said, patience is the name of the game my friend. I know it’s hard to sit on your hands and hope you get good news (I was in the same boat once, and am kinda in it again lol). But, we have to remember the admissions folks at every CSU get thousands upon thousands of apps, and to get back to us in a timely manner really does take some time. Hopefully we both will be hearing some good news these upcoming weeks :).

What are rolling admissions? I’ve heard it but I don’t know what it means.

@g032904: Rolling admissions means decisions come out in waves and not all in one day. For the CSU’s, they can post decisions over a period of several months. You should have all decisions by April.

my guess is, you are on the bubble for your major. As others note above, it could be another month or so. While you wait, you can investigate/visit the schools that have already said Yes and find your favorite among them.

Good luck.
