I sent in my application to a university at around 11:10 central time on December 1st, but the school is an east coast school - so they received it at 12:10. - so December 2nd for them.

Today I received an email that they received my application on December 2nd. December 1st was the deadline for scholarships...am I fine? Should I contact the school?

Sent them an email.

Hate to be pessimistic, but my guess is that they’ll say “too bad you should have checked that the deadline is EST.” Colleges get so many applicants, so its very difficult for them to make exceptions for any one person.

@indorilnerevar Except they never specified it was EST - I looked. Which is the only reason I might be fine.

In that case I agree, but there’s always a chance they’ll be unreasonable
