should I become a Vet? or Doctor?

This is a stupid question to ask
I feel the same
but I have to ask cuz i am turning into a junior,, choosing a career is important for me rite now

So,,working with an animal has been my passion, i do love LOVE dogs
but i haven't thought of it carefully
do i like to see SICK animals?
would i like to touch and do surgery on animals with possible disease??
well as for now, i can't answer it
and the last question is,,, why are you wasting time saving animals,,when there are so many humans dying ..this one made me feel so bad

So...I don't know
I would love to share some of your thoughts

Humans are animals…

but you know what i meant lol

Some people enjoy working with animals more than humans and have a passion for saving their lives. It’s nothing against people, there are just some of us who really like animals (myself included : ) ).

Plus, animals don’t complain and there are many less instances of veterinarians being sued over malpractice than doctors (I don’t have a statistic, though, sorry). If you’re so concerned about “so many humans dying,” then becoming a veterinarian probably isn’t for you.

yea liking dogs is very different to treating sick animals. lots of people like dogs, but how many people like dogs with rabies running around?

if your gpa is high, id say go pre med. more $$ in doctors than vets. in the end 90+% of the time, all it will be about is the $$

but, i still don’t want to be somebody who reaches for money over their passion

you probably will when you got to pay your bills, mortgage, your kids college tuition etc

how bout dentist…?
do they earn better than most doctors?
