I’ll be trying my hardest to get into Ross if I’m not already accepted as a preadmit. Does it make sense for me to apply to LSA honors if I’m not planning on pursuing a dual degree and do honors for only a year?
If accepted, you would be taking a spot on the LSA honors tract from a student who actually wants to pursue a dual degree and study within LSA honors for four years.
Oh, I see. I don’t think I’ll be attending unless I get Ross pre-admit anyway, so I guess applying doesn’t make sense for my goals.
@illinoisgolf you do realize that a big percentage of honors kids do it for the housing right? There’s no downside for you to apply to honors in this case. You should do it, even if it’s only for the housing.
If I get into Ross, though, would I be asked to move out of Honors housing?
After freshman year you’ll probably move off campus…
