Should I bother applying to UVA?

<p>I live in NOVA and my stats are a bit low, should I even even bother applying to UVA?</p>

<p>Weighted GPA:3.96(top 15%)
SAT:2140
Extracurriculars: Track and field, Robotics(co-programmer), Math,History,Science, and Spanish Honor Society. Intern for the democratic party, Charity work packaging food for the homeless, Tutoring Kids every Saturday.
Awards:AP Scholar with distinction
Hooks:First generation College Student</p>

<p>Definitely worth a shot. It would not be a “bother” to apply since you have a real chance of getting in.</p>

<p>Not that low. You’re in state and first generation. Couldn’t hurt to apply. They may surprise you.</p>
