Should I bother for Aerospace Engineering Regular Decision or is my GPA way too low?
Will they consider my circumstance?
Thanks

I’m also an applicant, so I know nothing…but…

Assuming your school doesn’t hand out 4.0s (and especially since you say it’s competitive), I don’t think (and I hope) that a 3.55 won’t kill you (of course, depending on how your grades were distributed). If anything, it’s your SAT II Maths and Physics that kinda stick out, but they’re definitely not anywhere near low enough to get you rejected on their own.

All I can tell you is that, as someone here once told me, you can’t get in if you don’t apply :D. Also, for what it’s worth, I think you have a way better shot than me and I’ve already applied EA =P. You should definitely apply if you’re not going to use the money to save anyone’s life; at the very least, you won’t have to deal with all the what-if’s later on.

Good luck =)

That was very motivating thank you

You can’t get in if you don’t apply. :)

your SAT’s are definitely tops for CalTech, heck for any school haha, and with that story, I’m sure they’ll take that under consideration… your EC’s are great and you seem to show a strong passion for what you want to major in; from one of the most competitive high schools, I’d say go for it!

Please Chance Me… Thanks!!

Thank you, I hope they consider my circumstance, but its a pretty far reach even if they do.
I do love my major and have been sure about it for a while.

yes I am going in for Engr. there as well

lol hope to see you there!
