I need a calculator for high school and I want to get a TI-84 Plus C Silver Edition (color display). Is it allowed on tests like the ACT, SAT, etc.? It has a color display which makes it a bit fancier than other calculators so I was wondering if tests let students use them.
Also, I need it for all of my classes throughout high school. Here are the classes I have will take over the next three years.
Precalculus
AP Stats
AP Calculus BC
AP Physics (haven't decided which one)
AP Chemistry
Also, as for the functionality, isn't the
TI-84 Plus C Silver Edition similar to operate as the regular 83 plus? I'm used to the 83 plus and I heard that using the TI-84 Plus C Silver Edition is pretty much the same thing. Is it? I'm a bit confused about whether I can take it to tests, and use it in all of my classes.
Could somebody please help? Thanks in Advance!
