Should i buy new textbook?

Ok here's my situation.
I am taking MAC2312 this fall and it requires CALCULUS, EARLY TRANSCENDENTALS by Stewart 6th Edition. (ISBN: 0495461024)

I couldnt find the book with this specific ISBN but i am gussing it is this one. Half.com / Books / Single Variable Calculus: Early Transcendentals

Is this correct? If it is, I have same book in 5th edition. Is there clear difference between 5e and 6e?

Should i buy it?

Thanks

Edit: I contacted the instructor a few days ago, but didnt get any reply.

Not sure about specifics, but from what I know, you’ll need the newer version. They update the problem sets in the books, which you’re usually graded on, and having the old book won’t do you any good there.

I have seen both books and from what I seen, the two editions are exactly the same. If I were you I would just bring the 5th edition, and just make sure to compare it with someone else’s. Worse comes to worse, you can use the book to study and learn and just photocopy someone else’s problem sets when you need them.

But I am pretty sure the problems sets are the same, I didnt go through the whole thing but the ones I saw were the same.
