Should I cancel my ACT scores?

Should I stop my ACT scores from being sent?
I took my ACTs saturday and I'm not sure how I did; I totally bombed the science, and I tried out a new technique for the reading, so I'm not sure how that went. I am currently sending my ACT scores to four schools and I'm not sure if I want them to have these set of scores. Say for example, I get a 17 or something like that; I don't want the colleges to have in the back of their heads that I have a 17 while they are waiting for my SAT scores.

I know colleges say that they will take the highest scores, but it's human nature to remember the previous scores that someone achieved. Advice please.

Thanks in advance.

PS- I have until the 15th of September to cancel or modify them.
