Should I cancel my AP Exams?

AP exams start in two weeks and I am not close to prepared. I’m taking the AP Lang and the AP Psych exams, with me self-studying for AP Psych. I have gotten almost no time to prepare for either of them and my teachers aren’t making it any easier either. I have a huge project for history to work on as well as a bunch of stuff from AP Lang along with the things from all my other classes. I’m not very good at AP Lang since I’m very slow and the exam requires you to write three essays, I planned on practicing for the exam so I could get better; psych itself isn’t that hard for me, it’s just a lot of memorization which requires time, time that I hardly have. I’m terrible at time management too which makes it even worse. So with such little time left and all this in mind, should I just cancel my exams?

If you do badly, you don’t self-report the scores so it has no impact on admissions.

If you were doing it for credit and you are totally unprepared, you can cancel because it’s unlikely to be helpful for that.

Don’t you have to take language for your class?

Self studying for an ap when u are not self motivated was a mistake.

I am self-motivated, but I’m slow and bad at time management and planning. I was and still am genuinely interested in psychology, that’s why I decided to take the exam. Also, by lang I mean AP English Language and Composition

Well, it’s all hindsight now, but self studying AP Lang is a mistake unless you have a teacher willing to critique your essays. IMO one does not become a better writer via osmosis.

Anyway, I agree with @gardenstategal ; take the exams and if you score poorly, just don’t report the scores.
