It’s not too late, but I feel like it’d be a stretch to push myself to take the exam since I’m taking a community college course for Eng 101 and 102, which I would get credit for at most colleges I applied to. I think NYU was the only one that said such classes wouldn’t be given credit…so I’m wondering…should I study for the exam and cram it in?
The motive behind taking it is in the event that I decide to go to a college that doesn’t give credit for my community college English classes, then I at least get some sort of credit towards the general english requirement…
I am planning on taking four ap tests just for the classes I have already taken (or am taking right now) and self studying for maybe Stat and Psychology (I dropped Stat junior year, but I think it’s doable; I’m in preparation already). Psych is on the fence and just for personal satisfaction of learning/earning credit…I most likely will not write the exam… I was considering the Physics 2 exam, but I find it a waste if most colleges won’t give credit for it unless it’s Physics C. (I’m in Physics Honors right now and don’t particularly feel challenged at all so I’ve been doing some supplemental learning plus problems)
I’m only taking the exams so that I can potentially get credit for as many courses that are possible…There is a possibility of me double majoring so to make that happen, I will need to carefully plan my semesters…and with many ged eds out of the way, then I can focus on my core classes for my majors.
