Should I cancel my score?

I just took the SAT 2 in World History this December and I was wondering if I should cancel my score because I thought the test was quite hard and I didn't do that well. I skipped three and I know I missed at least 7 but probably I missed more than that. What score will this put me at, and should I cancel?

My D1 did better than she thought on World History a couple of years ago (she came out saying it was hard, she had missed some, wanted to cancel her score). She ended up with a 760. Instead of cancelling the score, you could just take off all the colleges receiving it and see how you did. If you are happy, pay via score choice to send it once you have it (costs $11 per school, though). We used score choice for all of my D2’s scores. Just had her take all the tests she needed (SAT twice, subject tests – one of them twice) and did not select any schools to send them to. Then when she was all done we sent the scores we wanted to send to the colleges she was applying to. The extra cost was worth to have the control over which scores were sent.

Now, if you are applying to schools that require all scores, this does not work. But there are only a few of those.
