Should I cancel my scores

I just took the Chemistry SAT today and feel like I didn’t do very well (expecting <750). If I wait for the College Board to post my scores online, will it hurt my chances of getting into a good school? I’m planning to take 2 other subject tests in addition to retaking the chemistry test (actually studying this time). Are there schools that will see all your subject tests no matter what, or can you always select which scores to send?

Georgetown is the only college that requires all Subject Test scores to be sent; for everybody else, you can pick and choose (as long as you meet the minimum number, if any). I see no reason to cancel.

Agree with skieurope. You can wait to see your score and just not send it. Who knows, maybe you did better than you think… good luck

Since no one knows what score you got, not even you, consider this as a data point - almost all the current threads now about SAT, AP and SAT subject scores are by students who received 99+ percentiles and wanted perfect scores. (Click “Latest Posts” on the top left to see them all.) If this sounds like you, then you probably did either really well, or at least well enough. Just wait and see the score. A 750 SAT Chemistry score is fine. A 730 would be fine too.

Is it possible to cancel a previous year’s score after retaking a test?
