Should i cancel scores?

So I scored a 2270 first time I took the SAT with this:
740 M
740 CR
790 W

I think my score from June will be about this:
770 M
710 CR
710 W

SHOULD I CANCEL MY SCORES? FREAKING OUT!....

by the way i am trying to go to Stanford, not sure if that makes a difference with their policies..
Thanks for your help

Edit: When I send my scores do I get to choose which ones colleges see, or do they get to see all of them and they choose the highest?

wait, how do you already no your scores from today? ^

Most schools count only your highest scores. Go look at the Stanford admissions web site. They likely spell out how they consider your scores.

They look at all of your scores but only consider the highest three. I was wondering if having a slightly higher math score but lower other scores will hurt me because the colleges still see the lower scores.

I think you would have to be on the admissions committee of the college to accurately answer that question. In general, admissions folks have plowed through tens of thousands of applications. I doubt they are spending any energy looking for weaknesses.

Actually, if you cancel your scores, does it appear on your results page? Like, will colleges see that you canceled? If so, don’t. Those scores seem decent too. Plus, you never know what you scored :)

colleges usually tell you if they superscore or whatnot. it should be on their website. if not, call them!

desilu is correct. Stanford won’t really care, they’ll just see your best scores.

If you’re positive you did worse in each section then you should definitely cancel.

Actually, I believe Stanford will want to see all of your results, and even expect you to sign an acknowledgment that you have sent them all of your scores.

Not sure why you are freaking out. Stanford requires all scores, but superscores–so if your guesses are correct, they’ll take your new math and old CR and W = 2300.
