Should I do 5 or 6 AP classes?

next year as a junior this is my schedule.

Honors Biotechnology II
Honors World History
Honors Pre-Calculus
AP Environmental Science
AP Biology
AP English Language and Composition
AP Statistics
AP Psychology

This is a definite but I’m wondering if I should take AP world history seeing how this year I survived APUSH with an average C- in all quarters and a single B in 1 one all because I hated the historical content. I want to do something biology like when I get into college and should I push myself to do AP world when I don’t like history and find it terribly boring. Or should I push my self and try to succeed in it because I hear it’s much easier then APUSH but still hard and terribly boring. I just don’t want to be a slacker so any tips or advice would be great. Some people at my school say it’s easier but I don’t know. You tell me.
P.S no convincing me to reduce my AP’s I can handle it … Hopefully

Revision: when I say no convincing me I mean don’t say I can’t handle less then 5 I still need help on whether to choose 5 or 6

Just do 5, while course rigour is nice, hurting your GPA considerably is not. If you’re getting a Bio major, I’d recommend AP Calc instead if anything.

@Frigidcold Thanks for the reply appreciate and I plan on taking these classes senior year

Honors Biotechnology III Honors
Honors Biotechnology IV Honors
Honors BioInformatics Honors
AP Calculus AB
AP Chemistry
AP Literature
AP Microeconomics
Regular Lab Assistant I

So I will take AP calculus eventually.

I would do six if you can handle it. World History AP is an easy class if you just read the textbook.

I would say no. You have 5 ap’s and that is all you need. Pretty much as long as your gc checks most rigorous on your sheet for college you’re good. Adding a 6th ap is great is you can handle it but given your apush grade I would have withdrawals and doubts. AP World for me personally was an easy B and a hard A and it isn’t worth hurting your gpa over.

I agree with the above posters; APWH is only easy if you read your textbook religiously and take excellent notes for memorization. Personally I find history boring too, but I had a great teacher that basically over prepared us for the test while making the class fun. You don’t need it for any type of STEM major though.

Your curriculum is imbalanced. Don’t kill yourself with 6 APs.
You have to many bio classes.
You don’t need AP Environmental Science when you already have AP Biology. 3 biotech and bioinformatics classes are not necessary. 1 or 2 are enough. You need at least one physics class. You also need US Government class.
