Should I take multiple AP classes junior year?

I’m a sophomore this year, and I’m currently taking AP World History and AP Chemistry. Before signing up for them, I didn’t know what they were like, and nobody told me they would be challenging. I always took honors classes in middle school and 9th grade, and got easy A’s in them, so I thought these classes were also going to be easy for me. But I was wrong, and I have a B in AP world, and a C in AP Chem, which is barely passing. Right now people at my school are applying for AP Classes next year, and I signed up for AP statistics, but I don’t know if I should take any other ones. All of my friends are signing up for 3-4 AP Classes next year, but I’m hesitant about taking more than one, because I don’t want to struggle. I like to be challenged, but not to the point where I’m spending 5 hours a day doing homework. I heard the 2 AP classes that I’m taking right now 2 of the hardest, and the other AP classes are easier, but is this true? I’m thinking of taking AP Language, or AP Biology next year, so is there anyone who took them? What were they like? Is it worth taking so many, or should I just stick with one AP class? Thanks in advance:)

Had you taken regular or honors chemistry before taking AP chem? If not, I am not surprised you’d be struggling. Does your school have honor classes in biology and other classes?

No, our school only has AP and regular classes

My daughter is a very motivated student and usually get A’s, has struggled in just 2 classes all of high school… As a sophomore she got a B- in APUSH and this year is getting a C+ in AP Chemistry. Yes, I think you have picked two of the hardest AP classes. I think AP Bio is another tough one, along with Physics C, Calculus BC, and English Literature.
