should I do the art supplement for figure skating?

A while back I posted about whether or not to send a link of my skating to adcoms, but at the time I didn’t understand what the art supplement was.

I have quite a list of my achievements in figure skating, from competing in regional competitions to awards at my own skating club, and training around 14-25 hours a week. However, I think that my performing speaks louder than my awards.

Is it worth it for me to complete a figure skating supplement, and if I do, should I put it in the dance category? And when is the latest time they can accept portfolios (I am aware that people can submit things like SAT scores, recommendations, etc after the application deadline)

In the section where they ask if I am going to submit an art portfolio, if I select yes and don’t end up doing it, then how will that affect my admissions?

didn’t you ask this before? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/college-admissions/1941245-creating-a-youtube-video-of-the-dedication-to-my-ecs-and-sharing-the-link-to-colleges-admissions.html#latest

I would not submit as admission officers can see your devotion to the sport through your ECs/awards and would be in no position to judge the quality of your skating. If any schools you are considering have a figure skating team then you can contact the coach.

@happy1 what would I contact the coach about?

Tell the coach that you are interested in that school, and let the coach know about your skating experience.
